Wanganui Aero Day

On the day

From home build aircraft, microlights and vintage classics, to ex-military jets, warbirds and aerobatics machines. With two airshows planned and joyrides throughout the day; Wanganui Aero Day will be full of the hearty throb of big radial engines, the chug of classic biplanes, the scream of fast jets, and the whistle of WW2 fighters overhead. Stay tuned as we release details of some of these aircraft over the next few weeks! What is for certain, is that this day is one for the calendar.

We need to thank the whole of NZ’s General Aviation community, this day is coming together thanks to to the support and generosity of many of these aircraft owners and pilots, who are gathering to share the joy and passion of aviation with the community - it’s something very special to us and we are excited for the day!
